CYCLE 2 / TASK 1

Welcome, new designers! I am so thrilled to begin our second cycle, and with so much talent on board, I'm sure this will be one to remember.

Now, for your first task, we're going right down to the basics. We want to get a real feel of your style and skill, as well as test your creativity.

For this weeks task, we want you to create two, one of a kind .png outfits. These looks must contain at least 3 pieces each (ie; top, bottoms, and shoes or dress, shoes, and accessory) and must be entirely your own design! You may use basic templates for shape/shading references, but the aim of this task is to show us just how creative you can be without models or fancy backgrounds. You could create two street style looks, two couture looks, or one of each! Let your imagine run wild. We're really looking for something interesting and unique that jumps out from the pack. There are very minimal restrictions on this task, so this is your opportunity to stand out from the crowd and secure and early lead!

Your designs must be created using my infamous mannequin design (below). An HQ imgur link has also been provided.

To clarify, you must create TWO, totally unique .png outfits, expressing your personal taste, style, and creativity, using the mannequin provided. Clothing templates may be used, but should not be relied on.

The deadline for this task is Tuesday the 26th of April 2016. You have until then to send in your completed work. I strongly insist that each and every one of you, carefully read through the SUBMISSION page; here you will find helpful information on how to submit your work, and to protect it.

You may be wondering why only 8 contestants were chosen instead of 10, and that's because unfortunately not enough people signed up for this cycle. Luckily for those who did, you all got a place in the competition.

CYCLE 2 SIGNUPS

The Graphics Project is BACK!

After much speculation and disappointment, I am delighted to announce that The Graphics Project is finally returning for it's second cycle. To any newcomers, check out our ABOUT page for more information, as well as the CYCLE 1 page for a brief insight into the competition.

First and foremost, I introduce to you our permanent Cycle 2 judges;

The legendary, perfectionist angel herself, Nimka and iconic, graphic design legend, Jailer

Throughout the competition, various guest judges will also be invited to critique tasks. 

For our second cycle, we are recruiting 10 brand new designers to be put through their paces, all battling it out to take home the crown. The stakes are high, as the prize for this cycles winner is 1000 Stardollars, an exclusive graphics spread designed by Jailer, and a chance to co-design the next collection of VIS.
